Virginia Charles Jones

Virginia Charles Jones, 91, of Petersburg, died Wednesday, September 2, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lois Reid Charles. Virginia graduated from Crozer Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Theology. She is survived by her husband, Reverend C. Bailey Jones; son, Dr. Robert V. Jones; and daughter, Cynthia D. Jones. A funeral service will be held at Ocran United Methodist Church on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 7:30 P.M. The family will receive friends at Ocran United Methodist Church one hour prior, starting at 6:30 P.M. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Ahoskie Town Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Ocran United Methodist Church, P.O.
