Virginia Murcele Marks, 91, of Prince George died Friday, February 10, 2006 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Prince George County and was a life long resident. Mrs. Marks was a volunteer with the Prince George Chapter of the American Cancer Association, a member of Brandon Episcopal Church and was a retired teacher, having taught in both Hopewell and Prince George County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd D. and Kate Bailey Baird and her husband William H. Marks, Jr. Mrs. Marks is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth B. Graves of Kingsport, TN and Dorothy B. Stansell of Prince George and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 13, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, with the Rev. Macon Walton, rector of Brandon Episcopal Church officiating.
