Virginia Neece

Virginia Chenault Neece, age 66, departed this life Monday, November 29, 2010. She was the daughter of Edward C. and Martha Spain Chenault and was the widow of Randall Lee Neece. She was a graduate of Petersburg High School and a retired employee of Transouth Financial Corporation after 44 years of service. She was a member of Matoaca Baptist Church. She was energetic, compassionate, generous, a devoted great-aunt and loved to travel. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Ruth Cox; brother-in-law, James K. Cox Jr.; nephews, James Gregory Cox, Michael K. Cox and wife Tammy; niece, Jennifer Cox Cole and husband Ricky; great-nieces, Kaitlyn and Mandie Kay Cox, and great-nephew, Samuel Cole. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Sylvia Neece. She is also survived by her adoptive family, Patricia Tereschenko and family, a life long friend Delores Pannill, and many other devoted family and friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 6-8pm at the Petersburg chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11AM at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Rd., Prince George, Virginia..
