Virginia Otto

Virginia Evelyn Otto, 78, of Petersburg went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 27, 2009 after a long period of declining health. She was preceded in death by her parents, Justin and Nattie Crews and her husbands, Willard Johnson Newcomb and Daniel Marshall. Virginia loved her flowers and gardening and was a member of Crowder Memorial Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Otto; daughter, Janice Leibert of Colonial Heights; son, Randy Newcomb and wife, Sandy of Dinwiddie; step-son, Robin Otto and wife, Irene of Lumberton, NC; grandson, Les Newcomb and wife, Joyce of Dinwiddie and granddaughter, Belinda Joyner and husband, E.J. of Prince George. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 2 to 4 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, March 30, 2009 at Crowder Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph Elmore officiating. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery.
