Virginia Renfroe

Virginia Frances Foxworth Renfroe, 82, of Hopewell, died November 18, 2009. Mrs. Renfroe was a homemaker, who loved to cook, camp, and work in her garden but above all she loved to share her faith in the Lord. She was a member of Broadway Baptist for over 45 years where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband James Arland Renfroe Sr., her parents, Benjamin F. and Tula Mable Collins Foxworth. Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Rakowski of Hopewell, Barbara R.Hughes of Prince George, two sons, James A. Renfroe, Jr. and wife Cathy, of Fredericksburg, John A. Renfroe of Hopewell, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother John T. Foxworth, numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, November 20, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 1:30 P. M. in Broadway Baptist Church with Dr. James Maggard, officiating. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery.
