Virginia Louise Taylor

Virginia Louise Taylor, 88, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Taylor; parents, Ivan and Virginia Adams; and siblings, Russell Adams, Twyla Thomas, and Arthur Adams. Virginia loved being a nurse and retired as a head nurse from John Randolph Nursing Home. She was a member of the Christian Women's Club for many years and was a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Hopewell. The family wishes to thank her hospice team from Affinity Care of Virginia and the staff at Brighter Living for their care and support.

Virginia is survived by her son, Jeff Taylor (Gayle); son, Eugene Taylor (Mina); and daughter, Jeannette Kraft (Arlen); grandchildren, Meredith Hodges (John), Kyle Taylor (Bethany), Katie Taylor, Gabriel Taylor, Sam Taylor, and Ethan Taylor, Angie Charvat (Jeremy), Johnathan Ross; and great-grandchildren, Rosie Charvat, Aleghia Ross, and Scarlett Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm, on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
