Virginia Wicks

Virginia Holloway Wicks, 86 of Franklin, VA died Friday, November 17, 2006. She was a native of Prince George and the daughter of the late Joshua Henry and Ethel Monroe Holloway. She was the widow of Robert Lee Wicks. She was a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church in Franklin, VA. She was preceded in death by a sister Mildred H. Blankenship and two brothers Edward Lee Holloway and Joseph H. Holloway. She is survived by her niece Nancy B. Edwards and husband Robert â??Bobbyâ? of Franklin, VA; niece, Ethel and David Curd of Polksville, NC; nephew, Rodney and Jean Holloway of Marian, NC; great nephew, Duane Tucker and wife, Joanna and great-great niece, Kayla Tucker of Bayfield, CO. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, November 20, 2006 at Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Hyatt officiating. The family will receive friends at the residence of Bobby and Nancy Edwards. Donations may be made to the Franklin Congregational Christian Building Fund, Franklin, VA. or charity of their choice.
