Virginia Davis Windsor

Virginia “Ginny” Davis Windsor, age 92, recently of Lake Ridge and formerly of Chester, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at her residence. She was the youngest of twelve children born of the late, Vibert and Mary Ireland Davis. Mrs. Windsor was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chester for over forty years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth H. Windsor. Mrs. Windsor is survived by her daughters, Sharon A. Hamlin, and Kristine V. Hughes and her husband, Harry; son, Jay W. Windsor and his wife, Lynn; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Chester. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Dale Custer officiating. Interment will be held in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
