Virginia Marie Ostrosky

Virginia Marie "Marie" (Mulaski) Ostrosky, 94, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 21, 2023.
Born and raised in Swoyersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin "Ben" and Antoinette "Annette" (Federowicz) Mulaski; and sister of the late siblings, Ruth Haberstick, Leonard Mulaski, and Joseph Mulaski. She was a graduate of Swoyersville High School.
Marie was the devoted wife of John R. "Yadi" Ostrosky (dec. 2021), for 71 years; beloved mother to daughters, Diane Blackmon (dec. 2021) and Karen Delange; son-in-law, Alan Harrison; and sons, John and Mark; cherished grandmother to Brian Blackmon; and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Marie's faith in God and her unconditional love for her family were central in her life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, DIY, crafting, trivia, and travel.
A viewing will be held at St. Ann's Church in Chester, VA, on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 10am, followed by a memorial service and Celebration of Life at 11am. Interment will follow at St. Ann's Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send a charitable contribution in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, www.act.alz.org .
