Vivian Jacqueline Parden Kilby

Vivian Jacqueline Parden Kilby, 89 of Chesterfield passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, William K. Parden and Margaret Massengill Frew ; sister, Emily F. Crostic. Jacqueline served as a Senatorial Aide for Senator Frederick T. Gray for the Commonwealth of VA. She was a longtime member of Chester Presbyterian Church where she loved serving in the choir. Jacqueline enjoyed interior decorating, flower arranging and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years Claude W. Kilby Sr.; children, Claude “Pete” W. Kilby Jr. and his wife Ellen, Margaret “Peg” K. Webb and her husband Philip, Kenneth “Ken” L. Kilby; Grandchildren, Jordan, Clayton, Ian, Addison, Darren, Kendall, Gavin, Carter; sister, Alice Dickens and her husband Richard; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at the Chester chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Chester Presbyterian Church, 3424 West Hundred Rd, Chester, VA 23831.
