Vivian Marie Puse

Vivian Marie Puse, 66, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred P. Harris. She is survived by her loving husband of over 47 years Brian Puse II; son, Brian Puse III and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Ashton, Ayla and Ayden Puse; sister, Brenda Green and husband, Randy; sister, Lori Patton and husband, Bart; mother, Joyce Harris; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Vivian graduated from Hopewell High School in 1973, she received her Associates Degree in Art Education from Richard Bland, and her Bachelor’s Degree from VSU graduating Summa Cum Laude. Vivian worked as a teacher in Elementary School Education in Prince George County retiring with more than 20 years of service. Her and her husband are members of The Heights Baptist Church, and Vivian was a breast cancer survivor of more than 10 years. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and daughter. The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2021 in the chapel. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
