Vonda Lee Williams

Vonda Lee Williams, 94, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021. Born in Norris City, IL, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Elmer Smith and Reba Wave McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth Williams, sisters, Della Jenkins and Carldeane Ready and daughter-in-law, Joyce Rebecca. She is survived by her sons, Michael Williams (Mary Anne) and Kenneth Williams, brother, Glenn Phelps, grandchildren, Nicholas Bryant Williams (Sarah) and Mellissa Leah Williams and great-great grandchildren Alyssa, Michaela, Avery and Jaden and numerous family and friends. Vonda was a member of United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, IL. She loved to be by the water, host friends and family and she was known for being an amazing cook. A chapel service will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the JT Morriss Chester chapel.
