Wallace â??Wallyâ? Allen Duncan, age 59, of Chester, VA, died Monday, September 4, 2006 in Richmond, VA. He was the owner and operator of Wallyâ??s Precision Machines, a noted engine building company across the country. As a young man, Wally posted world records in the 1/4 mile at Atlanta, GA and 1/8 mile at Colonial Beach, drag racing in A / gas class in a car built in his fathers garage known as the â??Orange Crateâ?. He is survived by a daughter, Sherri D. Carmony and husband Darryll of Phoenix, AZ; parents, Laura S. and Walter â??Jimâ? E Duncan, Jr. of Chester; grandson, Justin Johnson of Eden, NC; granddaughter, Haley Carmony of Phoenix; Devoted Life Companion, Crystal George of Chester; sister, Gayle Livingston and husband John of Hopewell, VA; brother, Richard C. Duncan also of Hopewell; and many special friends. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Thursday, September 7th, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow there on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park of Chester.
