Wallace Simmons

Wallace Robert Simmons, Sr., age 88, of Chester, VA, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010. He was predeceased by his parents, Wallace Roger and Emma Mae Claud Simmons and a brother, Walter Maurice Simmons. Mr. Simmons was a member of the Chester United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech and a naval aviator during WWII. He was retired from the Virginia Department of Agriculture. Survivors include his wife, Myra Burbage Simmons; a daughter, Lynn S. Talley and her husband Robert, of Chesterfield; a son, Robert Simmons Jr., of Chesterfield; two granddaughters, Courtney and Katelyn Talley; and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Simmons of Franklin, VA.
