Walter Lee Berry, 76, of Hopewell, passed away peacefully in his sleep, Saturday, January 7, 2017 after a long illness.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell D. Berry and Mary S. Stegall; brother, Russell Allen Berry; daughter-in-law, Jane P. Berry and his loving wife of 46 years, Joyce S. Berry.
Walter is survived by his children, Bruce Berry and wife, Vicki, Kenneth Berry and wife, Lynn, Tammie B. Bailey and husband, James Bailey, and Rex Berry; sister -in-law, Helen Berry; grandchildren, J.C. Bailey, Jr., Shannon Bailey, Victoria and Ashley Berry, Laura Young, Lindsey Bryant, Cory Berry, Jennifer and Holly Berry; eight great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A special thank you, to Tylers Retreat at Iron Bridge for their compassionate and loving care.
