Walter B. Curry

Walter B. Curry. 73, a resident of Chester, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Ocie and Hallie Curry, brothers Ira, Bill and Clarence Curry and sister Minnie Martin. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Christopher Curry, and Steven Curry and his wife, Desirae; step-son, Ronald Gardner (Billie); step-daughter, Rhonda Hamel (Marty); sister-in-law, Rosemary Curry and sisters, Frances and Jane; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and a large extended family. He was a Life Member of Mid Cities Civic Association and was also an avid Hunter. Mr. Curry also raised twenty-eight foster children. The family will be receiving friends and relatives from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
