Wanda Ashburn

Wanda Lee â??Sueâ? Ashburn, 80, of Prince George County, died, Thursday, June 7, 2007 She was born in Malvern, Ark. Mrs. Ashburn was a homemaker, a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 174 Ladies Auxiliary, Palmyra, Missouri and a member of St. Josephâ??s Catholic Church, Petersburg. She was the daughter of the late James A. and Bernice Hendrix Hilborn. Surviving are her husband, William Forrest Ashburn of Prince George, two daughters, Patricia L. Kirtland and husband Daniel of New Boston, Michigan and Rita J. Ashburn and husband Lawrence of Huntsville, Missouri, nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and Danny and Richard Jackson, children raised by Wanda. A Christian wake service will be held Monday, June 11, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Josephâ??s Catholic Church, with visitation following until 8:30 p.m. . A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Josephâ??s Catholic Church, with Father Bob Spencer, officiating.
