Wesley Alan Bridgman, Sr.

Wesley Alan Bridgman, Sr., 68, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Wesley E. Bridgman, Jr. and Barbara H. Bridgman. Alan was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going camping. He was employed by Alliance Material Handling and was a fork lift operator and trainer. Alan is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Janet Bridgman; three sons, Wesley Alan Bridgman, Jr. and his wife, Amber, Kevin Haston, and Chris Bridgman and his wife, Jennifer; four grandchildren, Ethan Bridgman, Riley Bridgman, Parker Bridgman, and Jayden Moore; one brother, Mark S. Bridgman and his wife, Paula; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Southlawn Memorial Park.
