Wesley C. Campbell, 42, of Prince George, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014. A lifelong resident of Prince George County, Wes gave many years of devoted service as a volunteer fire fighter and EMS provider. He was a Past Chief of Carson Volunteer Fire Department, past member of Prince George Emergency Crew, and a member of Stony Creek Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, a past member of Rives Ruritan Club, a past member of Edwards Lodge No. 308, A.F. & A.M., and a past member of Cattail Creek Hunt Club. Wes is survived by his wife, Tracey Edmonds Campbell; daughters, Stephanie Campbell and Kayleigh Campbell; parents, Bill and Kay Campbell; brother, Scott Campbell and wife, Marcy; nieces and nephew, Samantha Campbell, Thomas Campbell and Madison Campbell; great-niece, Kassidy Bagley; a devoted friend, Lisa Tharp, a large extended family and many friends. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home followed by interment at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Please bring your favorite photos of Wes to the visitation and post them for everyone to see.
