Wilbur Franklin Lee, 79, of Hopewell, died Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Hopewell Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. and Eva Butler Lee and a brother, James J. Lee. Mr. Lee was a retired employee of Allied Chemical Corporation and was a loving and devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Juanita N. Lee, four children, Jean M. Gilbert and husband, William, John F. Warren and wife, Cindy, Teresa L. Newman and deceased husband, Robert, and Wilbur F.�Frankie� Lee II; eight grandchildren, William C. Gilbert, II, Michael J. Gilbert, John F. Warren, II , Robert W. Newman, III, Curtis L. Warren, Jeremiah S. Newman, David A. Shelton and Connor C. Warren and siblings, Lois L. Perry, Janet L. Philyaw, Betty L. Lamm, Vernon R. Lee, and Jerry W. Lee. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 7 p.m. at Enon Church of God. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
