Wilbur Franklin Lee II

Wilbur "Frankie" Franklin Lee II, 47, of Hopewell, VA, passed away on January 6, 2025.

Born to the late Wilbur F. Lee and Juanita N. Lee, he is also preceded in death by several aunts, uncles, a cousin, and his grandparents.

Aside from his career as a stone fabricator, Wilbur was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan, and enjoyed other hobbies such as fishing, video games, listening to music, skeet shooting, and spending time with his family, his girlfriend, as well as her family, and friends.

Wilbur was a compassionate listening ear, who had a passion for helping others and seeing the good in everyone. He also had a special place in his heart for children.

Wilbur is survived by his siblings, Jean W. Simonsen (Kai), John F. Warren (Cindy), and Teresa N. Rudder (Steve); as well as several nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
