Willard Earhart

Willard D. Earhart age 74 of Church Road died on Sunday, February 8, 2004. He was the son of the late William David and Maude Mount Earhart. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beulah W. Earhart; a son, Steven P. Earhart; a granddaughter, Jessica M. Earhart and her mother, Debra D. Earhart; two brothers, Warren Earhart and his wife, Irma of St. Louis, MO and Paul Earhart and his wife, Martha of Columbus, OH; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Earhart and a sister, Rosina Earhart. Mr. Earhart was retired from Hercules Corp. in Hopewell with 37 years service, served five years in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea and Japan, was a former member of West End Baptist Church and a current member of Western Heights Baptist Church and was a member of the Wilson Hebron Ford Ruritan Club. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. Tuesday, February 10 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 11 at Southlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum with The Reverend John W. Crocker officiating.
