William Richard Bell

William Richard Bell, 69, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016. Born in Middletown, OH, he was the son of the late John Robert Bell, Sr and Omalee Dorothy Patton Bell. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia Bell; son, William John “Willie” Bell; two daughters, Christine Lee Whitehead (Dane), and Wendy Spring Enos (Andrew); three grandchildren, Cori, Mason, and Jocelyn; two step-sons, Douglas “P-Nut” Edwards (Debbie), and Keith Edwards (Anita); two brothers, Robert Bell and Ron Stapleton. William was employed with Hercules retiring after 38 years. He was a United States Army Veteran and proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. In his spare time he enjoyed practicing the art of Tae kwon do earning a 1st Degree Black Belt. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow with military honors at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
