William "Bill" Zeiner

William â??Billâ? Hunter Zeiner, 61, of Prince George, VA, passed away December 28, 2009 unexpectedly from a massive heart attack. Bill was the devoted son of Frank Zeiner and the late Joyce Zeiner of Prince George. Bill was retired from the Department of Defense with 30 years of service. He continued to work as a contractor at the Defense Commissary Agency in Fort Lee. He was a graduate of Prince George High School and Virginia Commonwealth University, a member of the Claremont Sportsman Club, a board member of Fort Lee Federal Credit Union and a member of First Baptist Church in Hopewell. Bill was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends and family. Bill was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Barbara Mabe Zeiner; their children, Mark Zeiner, Brad (and Gara) Zeiner and Krystal Zeiner; four grandchildren; brother, Fritz Zeiner and wife Genie. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 6pm to 8pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm January 4, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
