William Leonard Bristow Sr

William Leonard Bristow Sr., of Dinwiddie County died on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Mr. Bristow was a retired federal government employee and served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Upon his retirement in 1977, Mr. Bristow volunteered at Southside Regional Medical Center in the X-Ray Department for more than 20 years. Mr. Bristow is survived by his wife of more than 68 years, Pauline G. Bristow; one daughter, Betty B. Hipkins; one son, William L. Bristow Jr.; four grandchildren, Jennifer Hipkins, Daniel Hipkins(Jessica), Steven Bristow, Bradley Ozmore(Dawn); four great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11AM in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA. Funeral arrangements are being conducted by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
