William Gerald Clark

William "Jerry" G. Clark, 85, of Prince George, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Marie Clark.

After graduating from high school, Jerry served honorably in the United States Air Force. Following that, Jerry was a manager at Transouth Financial Corporation for 35 years, retiring from that position. Jerry was a longtime member of the Jaycee Club as well as Woodlawn Baptist Church. He volunteered with the church as well as with the church's food bank. Jerry also selflessly donated blood from the age of 18, a gesture that was very important to him. Jerry loved to make others feel special, and he was known for sending everyone a card on their birthday.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Norma P. Clark; daughters, Sharon Faries and Carol Nall (Tim); grandchildren, Tyler Faries, Haley King (Mark), Andrew Nall, and Nathan Nall; great-grandchildren, Bexley, Rylan, and Brooks; brother, Ronald Clark (Joan); and extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, where the family will greet friends following the service. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the American Red Cross or Woodlawn Baptist Church. The family also encourages friends to consider donating blood in Jerry's memory.
