William Davis

William â??Skeeterâ? Joseph Davis, 80, went to be with the Lord on April 20, 2012. Skeeter was the son of the late Willie H. Davis and Agnes P. Davis. He was a lifelong resident of Hopewell, Virginia and was a lifetime member of the Cawson Street Church of Christ in Hopewell where he served as a Deacon for many years. William raised three children and for many years was owner/operator of an electronics business known as â??Hopewell Radio and TV.â? He is survived by his three children, Greg Davis and wife Holli, Ryan Davis and wife Heidi, Kyle Davis and wife Joanne; eight grandchildren, Cole, Cade and Savannah Davis, Heather, Hunter and Connor Davis, Anderson and Elizabeth Davis and one great grandchild, Braydon Berman; three sisters, Peggy Vivas, Margaret Woodlief and Sharon Brieling and countless nieces and nephews. He was loved deeply by his family and those whose lives he touched and will be greatly missed by all. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Cawson Street Church of Christ, 310 North Third Street, Hopewell, Va. at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2901 West Hundred Road. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 23, at J.T.
