William Audney Edwards, Sr.

William Audney Edwards, Sr., 73, of DeWitt, passed away on Friday, November 06, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Edwards; 2 daughters, Helena McGee and Cindy Craig; son, Steven Edwards, Sr.; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; brother, Chester Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Ashton and Bertha May Carter Edwards; son, William Audney Edwards, Jr.; and 2 brothers, Roger and Wynn Edwards. The family will receive friends at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held at the chapel on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Prospect Church Cemetery, 13505 White Oak Rd, Dewitt, VA 23840.
