William Laverne Emory, Jr.

William LaVerne Emory, Jr., 63, of Dinwiddie, died, Saturday, July 9, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his father, William “Binky” LaVerne Emory, Sr.; brother-in-law, Tony Christopher and mother-in-law, Mollie Grace Belcher. William was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly B. Emory; sons, William “Binky” LaVerne Emory, III and fiancée, Meredith Marie Lamm, Robert Earl and wife, Amanda Mignogna Emory; grandchildren, Eli Colt Emory, Liam Brian Emory and Mollie Grace Emory; mother, Pauline M. Bryant and husband, Joe; sisters, Terry Christopher, Sharon Cousins and husband, Allen, Sandra Humphries and husband, Linwood; brother, Ronald Craig Emory and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 22218 Dabney Mill Road, N. Dinwidde, VA 23803, where a service will be conducted, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016 with The Reverend Rodney Jenkins officiating.
