William Fisher

William "Bill" Martin Fisher, 76, of Chester, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Troy Fisher; and a niece, Jenny Thacker Steele. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Clear Fisher; daughter, Berkeleigh Ladd and husband, Tommy; daughter, Whitney Hogan and husband, Shane; grandchildren, Emerson Combs, and Quinn Combs; sister, Martha Thacker; brother, Mark Fisher and wife, Paula; nieces, Anna Thacker Flick and Tiegan Fisher; nephew, Timothy Fisher; as well as extended family and friends. Bill was a member of the Chesterfield Community Church. He was a Locomotive Engineer for CSX and Amtrak; he was also very active in Richmond Search and Rescue. Over the years Bill was Captain of many different boats and enjoyed the outdoors, spending time with his family, boating and survival prepping. The family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 17, 2022 at J.T. Morriss & Son, Chester Chapel, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831.
