William Blaney Harper Sr

William B. Harper Sr. 88 of Hopewell, VA., passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016. He is survived by his Son William B. Harper Jr. (Juanita); his Daughters Lynn H. Casey, Joni H. Meadows (Delane), and Tara H. McQuage (Franklin); Nine Grandchildren and ten Great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Juanita Balderson Harper and Son-In-law Gerald T. Casey. Mr. Harper was a Minister for 35 years at the Cawson Street Church Of Christ. Church and family were the center of his life. His other great love was UNC and anything Tarheels. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home 820 W. Broadway Ave. Hopewell, Va. 23860. Services will be held on Monday January 11, 2016 at 11:00am at The Cawson Street Church of Christ 310 No. 3rd St. Hopewell, Va.23860.Officiated by Dr. Dan Williams, Gregg L. Elrod and Mural Worthey.
