William Russell Himes

William R. "Bill" Himes, 66, of Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. He loved grilling, cooking, and entertaining. He was also a devoted family man. Bill Himes was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America and a devout member of Elkhardt Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daisy and Charles Himes; and his sister, Brenda Perkins. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Liz Himes; sister, Laura Herring; two sons, Matt Himes (Paty) and Russell Himes (Mel); granddaughter, Lula Himes; and numerous other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Elkhardt Baptist Church this Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:30 P.M. There will also be a visitation from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. for friends and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
