CW3 (Retired) William Harrison Isham, Jr 77 of Disputanta passed away Friday October 22, 2021. He was born in Baldwinsville, New York on December 20,1943 to the late William and Shirley (Skinner) Isham, Sr.
Chief Isham retired from the United States Army after 22 years of service, He served two tours in Vietnam, he earned many awards including: Vietnam services medal, Vietnam campaign medal, Vietnam gallantry cross w/Palm, Army accommodation medal w/1 OLC, he loved fishing, baseball games and travel, but above all he loved his family, he was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the honor of knowing and loving him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Raymond.
He is survived by his wife, the love of his life, Winifred A. Isham; sons, William H. Isham II (Louise), Brian K. Isham (Donna) both from Disputanta; eight grandchildren, Kristy Demondo, Steven Isham (Jennica), Alyssa Isham, Amber Isham, Brandon Fender, Brian K Isham, Jr, Coty Fender, Cody Isham; ten great-grandchildren; and brother, Lawrence C. Isham of Depew, NY; and sister, Kathleen Forbes, Watertown, New York.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
