William M. Coleman

William â??Billâ? Meyer Coleman, 68, of Hopewell, departed this earth to his Heavenly home on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 in John Randolph Medical Center. He was a life-long resident of Hopewell. Mr. Coleman was a retired accountant for the state of Virginia, volunteered with the Hopewell Emergency Crew, also serving as Captain, served on several city boards, volunteered with John Randolph Medical Center and was a member of First Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Ned Meyer and Emma Louise Patterson Coleman He is survived by his wife, Alice Hanks Coleman of Hopewell, Weezie, his faithful companion and many cousins. The family will receive friends Friday, June 22, 2007 from 7-9 P.M. at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2007 a 4:00 P.M. in the Hopewell chapel with Rev. Jeff Raymond officiating Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Va.
