William Mcewen,Jr.

William R.H. McEwen, Jr., 79, of Franklin passed away on June 16, 2011. He was the son of the late William R.H. McEwen, Sr. and Dorothy Mae Tyree McEwen and the husband of Cora Elizabeth Cannon McEwen. Mr. McEwen was the customer service manager for Continental Telephone Company in Warsaw, was appointed customer service manager for the Franklin District, and retired as vice president/state manager for Contel of Vermont.
Mr. McEwen is survived by his wife, Cora Elizabeth Cannon McEwen of Franklin, VA.; sons, William R.H. McEwen, III of Ashland, VA, Brian Keith McEwen and wife, Victoria of Mechanicsville, VA, and Todd Leslie McEwen and wife, K.K. of Nokesville, VA; daughter, Elizabeth McEwen Smith and husband, Michael of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, William R.H. McEwen, IV, Brian Keith McEwen, Jr., Mark Allen McEwen, Wendy Elizabeth Spence, Eric Leslie Spence, Patrick Nicholas Spence, Daniel Todd McEwen, Krystal Lawhorn, and her husband, Jamie, and Angela Plaster McEwen and great grandchildren, Trevor Lee Spence and Trent Lawhorn.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with Father Charles Saglio officiating.
