William Richard â??Dickâ? Mulliniks, 60, of Dinwiddie County, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007. Born in Johnson City, TN, he was the son of the late Dr. Edward C. Mulliniks, LT COL (retired) and Helen Binford Mulliniks. He was a graduate of Cumberland County High School, Crossville, TN and Tennessee Tech University, Cookeville, TN, and was a retired employee of Kraft Food Company, Colonial Heights. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Dinwiddie where he was active in Sunday school and served as a volunteer Chaplain at Southside Regional Medical Center. Mr. Mulliniks is survived by his brothers, Edward Mulliniks and wife, Norma of Lenoir City, TN and Jack Mulliniks and wife, Patricia of Holland, PA; sister, Jane Henderson and husband, Denver of Madison, TN; and ten nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 PM Friday, June 1, 2007 at Smyrna Baptist Church, 18725 Carson Road, with Rev. Robert Rowland, Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at the Turner Family Cemetery, Dinwiddie. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
