William Charles Mullins

CW5 William Charles Mullins, retired, age 79, of Chesterfield, passed away in Richmond, Virginia, on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Born in Allen, OK and raised in Holdenville, OK, he was the son of the late Chester and Erna Lankford Mullins. Mr. Mullins joined the United States Army in 1955 and dedicated over 41 years of service to the country he loved. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gertraud Mullins; a son, Billy Mullins; two daughters, Tracy Webster and her husband, John, and Sherry Yeratt and her husband, Keith; three grandchildren, Shawn Webster, Kristin Webster, and Lauren Yeratt; a great-granddaughter, Kyleigh Crouse; five siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Fort Lee, VA. Interment will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
