William Arnold Neel

William Arnold “Bill” Neel, 76, of Chester, VA passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Garnetta Neel. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Janet W. Neel; sons, David Neel and wife Anita, Pierce Neel and wife Bonnie; grandchildren, David, Logan, Danielle and Bryce Neel; sisters, Debbie Barett and husband Steve, Gail Sparks; special friends, Lisa and Scott Vidito. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he took great pride in serving his country. Bill loved little league football and spent over 30 years coaching and mentoring his players at Chester and Wells. He enjoyed his music, spending time with his friends and most of all Bill loved his family. He was loved and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
