William Larry Oliver

William Larry Oliver, 66, of Matoaca, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.L. and Doris Alva Keller Oliver; and sister, Alvah Louise Spradlin. Larry worked for Sears and Roebuck for 20 years in home improvement and also as a truck driver for Roper Brothers Lumber Company for 15 years. Larry enjoyed spending his spare time fishing. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Oliver; daughter, Amie Oliver Davies and husband, Steve; 2 sons, Chris Oliver and wife, Angela, and Ryan Gardener and husband, Sam Howerton; 5 grandchildren, Zach Davies, Zoe Davies, Kristyn Oliver, Cole Oliver and Tommy Oliver; sister, Betty Smith and husband, Gene; 2 nieces, Donna Morris and Linda Daniel; nephew, Ricky Daniel; great-niece, Amber Daniel; and best friend, Pete Rhodes.
