William Perkins Sr.

William Perkins, Sr., 76, of Chester, VA, went to be with the lord and Carolyn on January 22, 2019. Born in Parkers Lake, Kentucky he was the son of the late Orville O. Perkins and Minnie Woodson; and was also preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Perkins; a son, Stephen Lee Perkins; a great-granddaughter, Sarah; and four siblings, Lillian, Pearl, Elmer and J.R. Mr. Perkins was a United States Army veteran and had a deep love for his grandkids. He is survived by his two children, William Perkins, Jr. and wife, Lynn and Beverly P. Bailey; five grandchildren, Alan, Sarah, Trey, Joshua and Patrick; great-grandchildren, TC, Kenzie and Aurora; three siblings, Christine, Raymond and Alice; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
