William Presley

William Flannagan Presley, 77, of Richmond went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, Spencer Dale and Mary Murphy Presley; the love of his life, Mildred Lucille Phipps Presley; sister, Arstelle Presley; and brothers, Eugene and Vernal Presley. He was born in Council, VA on April 26, 1930 and was a veteran of the Korean War who served in the 351st Division of the U.S. Army. William was employed at Allied Chemical where he retired in 1990. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Allen Presley and wife, Barbara; daughter, Brenda Presley Wicker and husband, Thom; grandson, Jeffrey Allen Presley, Jr.; granddaughter, Lena Michelle Wicker; brothers, Donald Presley and wife, Bonnie and Bert Presley; sister-in-law, Martha Presley and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, September 14th from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 15th at 11:30 am at Kingsland Baptist Church located at 8801 Perrymont Road, Richmond, VA. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park.
