William Edward Rook, Sr.

William Edward Rook, Sr., 74, of Dinwiddie County, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Cotter Rook. He loved his motorcycle club and taking rides on his Harley-Davidson. He is survived by his sons, Shawn Rook, Steven Rook, and William Rook, Jr.; daughter, Amber Bailey; stepdaughter, Angie Abernathy; brother, Robert Rook; sister, Teresa Wagner (Owen); and grandchildren, Destiny Downey, Joshua Rook, Annalyse Rook, Jessica, Leanne, Gabrielle, Mark, Jr., and Christopher. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends following the service. Interment will be private.
