William Francis Stamp, 67, of Chester, VA., died, Friday, April 15, 2016.
He is preceded in death by his father, Claire Stamp, and brother, Larry Stamp.
William was born in Auburn, New York, June 30, 1948, and married August 20, 1967, he served in the United State Air Force from January 1967 through May 1979, and was a Minister, Christian School Instructor and Principal, Instructor for the Defense Commissary Agency, Adjunct Professor at 3 colleges and Universities in Virginia and served with the Tri-Cities Crisis Pregnancy Center.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Stamp; children, Jeffrey Stamp and wife, Jeanna, Jaime Jones and husband, Matt, Stephen Stamp and wife, Rachael, Kimberly Splinter, Gregory Stamp and wife, Rachael; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; mother, Shirley Carberry; brother, Thomas Stamp; sisters, Sandy Goodrow and Lynda Young.
The family will receive friends, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 17, 2016 at the J. T. Morris & Son Funeral of Chester, VA.
A service will be held, 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 18, 2016 at Enon Church of God. 900 Enon Church Rd. Chester, VA 23836
Interment is private.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Enon Church of God to further spread the gospel.
