William (Bill) E. Waterworth, 86, passed away on September 21, 2023. He was born in Bury, Manchester, Lancashire County, England, to the late Alan and Ethel Waterworth. He was also preceded in death by his brother, John R. Waterworth; and his spouses, Mary Ludvigson, Shirley Waterworth, and Roseann Waterworth.
He dutifully served his country in the Army National Guard, and worked as an electrician for Allied Chemical and Philip Morris. He was a model train enthusiast and loved to collect, work on, and run them for anyone who would watch. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who took great pride in the many accomplishments of his family and his English heritage.
He is survived by his sons, William Alan (Linda) and Thomas Gregory (Donna) Waterworth; his grandchildren, Tommy, Brett, Craig, and Nathan Waterworth; his great-grandchildren, Tristan, Reid, Ellison, Bennett, Penny, and Simon; his step-children, Wayne, Karen, Mark, Darcel, Doreen, and Dawn; as well as the grand and great-grandchildren of Shirley and Roseann. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Judy Arthur; her children, John C. Waterworth and Deedy Cleland; and her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 2 p.m., with committal at Sunset Memorial Park to follow immediately after.
