Willie Mae Grammer, 86, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016. Born in Welch, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Puckett and Willie Tabor Puckett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Preston A. Grammer; brothers, Charlie F. Puckett, Jr. and James Puckett; and sister, Marie Bowman. She is survived by children, Nancy Sturt (Joey), William Michael Rye (Connie), Danny Rye (Delores), and Debbie Reams (Bill); grandchildren, Jason Sturt, Paula Beach, Lance Rye, Joey Reams, and Jamie Chamberlain; great-grandchildren: Waylon and Gunner Sturt; Lane, Ethan, Clark, and Cullen Beach; Cody Rye; Kaylee, Camden, and Kinston Reams; and Audrey Chamberlain; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Shortt officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be donated to Colonial Heights Community Center. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
