Willie Ii Cousins

Willie Clifton Cousins, II, age 87, of Kitty Hawk, NC, formerly of Colonial Heights, VA, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2008. He was born in Richmond, VA, the son of the late Charles R. and Effie Baldwin Cousins. Mr. Cousins was retired from Dupont after 37 ½ years of service, a member of the Hopewell Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 284 of Colonial Heights, VA. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Esther Flexon Cousins; daughter, Yvonne Cousins Short and husband, Bill of Chesterfield, VA; grandson, Scott C. Short of Kitty Hawk, NC; sister, Delores Redmond and husband, Thad of Colonial Heights; and brothers, Donald Cousins and wife, Jean of Colonial Heights, and Vernon Cousins and wife, Roxie of Chesterfield. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, December 28, 2008, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home on Monday, December 29, at 2 p.m., with interment in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
