Willis Robinson

Willis A. Robinson, 86, of the Colonial Heights Health Care Center died following a brief illness on Thursday, February 05, 2009. He was born in Rocky Mount, NC, but spent most of his life in Petersburg. He was a member of Monumental Baptist Church and had a long association with Elm Street Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wives, Evelyn and Irene. He is survived by a daughter, Alana R. Cole of Yorktown, VA and a son, Marc C. Robinson of Church Road, VA. He also has a step daughter, Linda Pennino of Sanford, FL and a step son, Robert Matylewicz of Ottawa, Canada; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and one sister, Genievieve Bass of Rocky Mount, NC. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
