Wilton Warrick Bogan, Sr., 85, of Hopewell died Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Bogan was born in Staunton, VA and had been a long time resident of the Hopewell area. He was the son of the late Otis and Martha Bogan and the widower of Margarette Crummey Bogan. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #1472 and was a retired heavy equipment operator for B. P. Short. Mr. Bogan is survived by a daughter, Bertha Marie â??Sissyâ? Bogan Bradshaw of Dinwiddie County, five sons, Wilton Richard Bogan of Live Oak, FL, Kenneth Lee Bogan of Hopewell, VA, Larry Otis Bogan, Sr. of Chesterfield County, VA, James Allen â??Jimboâ? Bogan of Prince George, Wilton Warrick â??Booâ? Bogan, Jr. of Hopewell, VA, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren, two sisters, Agnes Davis of Hopewell, and Elton Pommert of Roanoke, VA. The family will receive friends Friday, July 9, 2010 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery, Hopewell, VA.
