Windy Broughton

Windy Ann Broughton, 51, of Prince George, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2012. She was a member of the Junior Womenâ??s Club, and attended Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. Mrs. Broughton was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She had an unconditional love for people, always putting others before herself. Mrs. Broughton is preceded in death by her father, Milton Gene Hughes. She is survived by her husband, Jerry O. Broughton of Prince George; children, Bobby Ray Broughton and his wife, Erin of Midlothian, and Victoria Ann Broughton of Prince George; mother, Johnnie Ann Hughes of Prince George; brothers, Frank Allen Hughes of Johnson City, TN, and Max Lee Hughes of Reston, VA; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Unity Baptist Church, 4951 Mount Sinai Road, Prince George. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the church, with the Rev. Rodney T. Mason and Pastor Chris Jenkins officiating. Interment will be private.
