Winston Davis

Winston B. Davis, â??Shortâ?, age 85, of Ford, Virginia passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009. He was born in Dante, Virginia, son of the late Issac B. and Beulah Glenn Davis. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lola Jean Davis and his brother, I.B. Davis, Jr.. Mr. Davis was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of Stuart Masonic Lodge, #224 for 49 years. He was also a member of Bellwood Baptist Church. Mr. Davis is survived by his children, Michael R. Davis and wife, Diane of Ford, Linda D. Stinson and husband, Ray of Powhatan, and Brenda D. Jenkins and husband, Donald of Chester; grandchildren, Laura Hicks, Brandi Madison and husband, Brian, Melissa Stinson and Michael R. Davis, Jr. and wife, Tori; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Lindsay Madison, Rebecca Hicks and Charleigh Davis; and several family members and friends. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
